1. General Conditions

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country or region of residence.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Our online store is hosted on Wix, which provides us with the e-commerce platform to sell our products to you.

All Smelling Peace candles are handcrafted individually. Because of the artisanal, handmade nature of our products, minor variations in color, texture, scent intensity, and appearance may occur between batches. These are not considered defects, but rather the unique characteristics of handmade items.
We make every effort to display the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible on the store, but we cannot guarantee that your device’s screen display will perfectly reflect the product.

All prices displayed on the website are listed in Euros (€) and are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue a product at any time.
Payments are processed securely through our integrated third-party payment gateways. By completing a transaction, you authorize us to charge the selected payment method for the total amount of your order.

We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
Our shipping and delivery operations are restricted strictly to Cyprus. Any orders placed outside of Cyprus will be canceled and refunded.
Fulfillment is completed either via local courier drop-off or via a mutually agreed personal handover with our representative, Nikolas, as outlined in our Shipping Policy.

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase and return an item within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason.
To be eligible for a return, your candle must be completely unused, unlit, and in its original packaging.
Unless an item arrived damaged or broken during shipping, the customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning the item to us.
To initiate a return, please contact us at our support email address prior to sending the item back.

Safety First: Candles involve open flames. By purchasing our products, you acknowledge that you have read and will follow the candle safety guidelines provided with your order (e.g., never leaving a burning candle unattended, keeping it away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets, and trimming the wick before lighting).
Limitation of Liability: Smelling Peace, its owners, and its operators shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage, injury, or loss resulting from the misuse, negligence, or improper burning of our candles.

All content included on this Website—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, candle collection names (such as the "Poetic Edition"), product descriptions, and images—is the exclusive property of Smelling Peace and is protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse any content without our prior written consent.

These Terms and Conditions, and any separate agreements whereby we provide you products, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.
